I doubt there exists any 'right method'...
Anyways, NOBODY should be in prison. Among other insights of what living behind bars is, I strongly recommand "I cried, you didn't listen" by Dwight E. Abbott, that AK Press has recently republished.

The longer time drags, the more I begin to think this really is the only way to help animals NOW. I'm still not convinced its the right method, but groups like SHAC definitely deserve support. I don't know what I'm trying to say here, I'm not going to polemicise, but I'm glad you posted this.

I've been to Twin Towers in Los Angeles. I'll tell yea, It's hard to be Vegan in Jail unless you tell someone your diet in the beggining of processing. I remember when I couldn't sleep at night you just think of albums you like and play them through in your head to take your mind off the fact your surrounded by fucking cops and gangsters. I did that with "Potemkin City Limits".Damn, that album rules.

well, i'm glad to see this here. but i think it's important to aknowledge that most prisoners in general shouldn't be where they are. political prisoners, economic prisoners, gender prisoners: prisoners of circumstance, mostly in those cages.

in many cities there are books to prisoners groups, who provide valuable information and ideas to people who aren't supposed to have any. here a link dinks:

and while your at it, don't forget to write Peter Young. (supportpeter.com) He's doing time for releasing 8000 mink from a fur farm and read a statement to the court (at his sentancing) that will give you goosebumps.
