G7: always ahead of the curve in the shitstorm of controversy department …
Turns out Osama Bin Laden recommended Americans read “Rogue State” by William Blum in his latest video message to the West. Well Billy, if your phone wasn’t tapped before, it sure as hell is now! Interestingly, not only have we been pushing “Rogue State” – and Blum’s other mind-blower “Killing Hope” – for 5+ years, you may also remember William Blum as the fine author of an essay that was written specifically for Propagandhi’s “Today’s Empires” CD.
Double-interestingly, the other author who appeared on that CD was Ward Churchill, who we also have released two spoken word CDs by. AND, last year he was practically lynched by the US media powers (as well as many “progressives”), with calls for charges of treason and terrorist affiliation thrown against him by commentators.
Word from us is this: Blum and Churchill are two authors who speak the truth in the face of reactionary public outcry. We regard them as two of the most important and fearless commentators exploring and analyzing Western history and foreign policy today.
