Coming to an outhouse near you …
Aside from the promise of live shows from Propagandhi (starting in October in Ontario and Quebec), we also have a slew of dates coming up from various other peoples.
The Subhumans will play the Wise Hall in Vancouver as part of Distort Vancouver on August 26th. Cross-canada tour to come in October and November.
Greg MacPherson will be out in Eastern Canada in mid-August, followed by a whopper of a show in Winnipeg on September 8th at the Burton Cummings Theatre. Er, wait, no, actually it’s at the West End Cultural Centre. For $10. It’s The Weakerthans that are playing at the Burton. And that’s not until the 16th. For $26. No, a cat did not just run across my keyboard and type that with her little paws. It really is $26 to get in.
GFK are still going hard in Quebec and Ontario, with a string of shows in late August.
And last but not least, Giant Sons are reuniting for one show only at the Royal Albert, Thursday, August 31st to commemorate the digital release of their anthology by us. A show not to be missed!
