Time for you to read books.
We have replenished our modest collection of dissident literature this month in our online store, adding titles like “War Is A Force That Gives Us Meaning” by Chris Hedges and “Beyond Chutzpah: On the Misuse of Antisemitism and the Abuse of History” by Norman Finkelstein.
But that’s not all! We have also undertaken to boldly go where no record label has gone before and augment our humble political non-fiction emporium with some of the most sweeping English-language speculative fiction this side of Olympus Mons. It is our belief that in its finer moments, this undervalued genre has an increasingly critical role to play in the future that unfolds before us (isn’t that right, R2?).
To start you off on your speculative journey, we bring you Kim Stanley Robinson’s epic “Mars Trilogy” (all 3 books - Red Mars, Green Mars, and Blue Mars - for $30!) and Stephen Baxter’s staggering, 65 million year odyssey “Evolution”.
I hope you used a generous amount of Alberto V05 this morning, cuz you’re about to have your mind BLOWN.
